How would you deal with error correction in your classroom?

I will explain that we are human beings and we make mistakes all the time, but we have to be humble and accept advices from other people and if we want to learn something in a good way, we have to accept some good critics.

I think that students are the center of the class, so I will ask them how they want to be corrected. Whether on-the-spot immediate correction or later one by one, but correction depends on the activity because if we want to encourage fluency interruptions and corrections might get in the way of the work.

In addition one strategy that I would like to improve is just listen during the activity and discretely collect a list of overheard errors and later on, I can use this list to provide sentences to discuss or just correct them in order to make students feel comfortable.

As a conclusion I will try to be the best teacher possible and I will try to help my students in all the ways possible, but if I accomplish with all my responsibilities I am going to let know my students that they have to answer  with the  same attitude.

How can I raise students awareness about how student can best learn and help them find more ways of learning English more effectively and productively?

The first thing that I should have in mind every time I teach is that I must have very clear the objectives that I want to reach with my students. Then I have to establish some rules in order to create a good environment in the classroom, also the first impression is very important and can define the behavior students have all the year.

In the other hand, I have to know very well the challenges and strengths of my students to choose the right strategies to help them to overcome their challenges. Besides, I have to know the individual differences end the multiple intelligences to take advantages of those abilities.

I need to motivate my students to learn the foreign language because nowadays English gives lots opportunities to get better jobs, and I have to teach them how useful English could be in our country.

I would advice my students to practice every day by using easy tools such as music, videos, internet, and others. Those tools can be very useful since they are very accessible to almost everybody and they are easy and entertaining.

Finally I will support my students in order to help them to improve their English and also to show them ways in which they can create their own learning.
